His experience includes advising clients on issues relating to oppression and mismanagement, shareholder deadlock; regulatory approvals and takeover conflicts and supports the Firm’s corporate practice in managing regulatory touchpoints in the M&A space.

Rashid & his team advise and act on several non-contentious and contentious areas of financial services regulation covering areas as broad-based as delisting, regulatory action and adjudication for regulated and listed entities. He routinely represents clients before the Securities and Exchange Board of India and at the appellate level, before the in Securities Appellate Tribunal and Supreme Court of India.

He is a Member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa and is also a Member of the Information Communication Technology Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Media Laws, Communications &Media studies from the National Academy of Legal studies & Research (NALSAR) University of Law, Hyderabad.
